Hi, I’m John Bannan, Founder of Bannan Financial Group. For more than 30 years, I’ve been helping people understand their finances and plan for the future. I’ve worked at large financial firms, but what really motivated me was seeing how many hardworking people, especially educators, were left to figure things out on their own. That never felt right to me.
I live in Northvale, New Jersey, not far from where I grew up in Dumont. It’s a place where people help each other out, and relationships matter. I bring that approach to my work. If you need guidance, I want to be the person you can call and count on.
I work with individuals and families on retirement planning, college savings, insurance, and investment strategies. Most of my clients are not looking for flashy solutions. They just want to feel confident they are making smart decisions. I help them create a plan that makes sense and keeps life in balance.
Outside of work, I’m an early morning gym regular and a big fan of hiking along the Hudson. I also love trying out new restaurants with friends and spending time with my five amazing kids — Hannah, Leah, Rachel, Noah, and Caleb. They are my greatest joy and the reason behind everything I do.
